Transport in Bristol

Bristol has extensive transport infrastructure spanning land, sea and air. More than half a million people live in the Greater Bristol area many of whom live outside the city and commute in, all dependent on the local transport infrastructure. There are two main railway stations (Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads). There are a large number of bus services and a ferry boat providing leisure and commuter services on the harbour.

Bristol also has a huge amount of international traffic and cargo passing through as the city hosts an international airport (Bristol International Airport) and a major port, Bristol Port.
