Public Transport in Bristol

Public transport in Bristol consists largely of its bus network, with most services provided by First Group (formerly the Bristol Omnibus Company), plus others by Abus, Buglers, Ulink, and Wessex Connect. The city is also served by three park and ride sites, supported by the local Council.

The central part of the city has water-based transport, offering leisure and commuter services on the harbour.

Since 2000 the city council has included a light rail system in its Local Transport Plan, though to date has been unable to fund the project.
