"Left a note on door to leave with my neighbour and they ignored it."

I was expecting two parcels on Monday but knew I wouldn’t be in and as it was too late to redirect either of them I I left a note on the door to leave with my neighbour, ( I gave a choice of 3 different neighbours actually , two of whom I know were definitely in ).

However the parcels were taken back to the delivery office and a card was left for me . The writing on the card was awful and the reference number barely legible.

How silly is that, especially with Covid, the parcels have gone back and I’ve got to go and collect them or get them redelivered.

Useless. Thanks Mr Postman .

This same thing happened once before many years ago and when I complained , the woman in tge collection office said “ anybody could put a note on the door asking it to be left at their house “ and I said yes they could but not on the inside of the door !,!.
