A review of Vodafone by J N Isaac written on Thursday 20th of June 2019
Went into shop and agreed to upgrade from pay as you go to a monthly contract. Told it would all be settled in just over two hours. All that happened after two hours is my phone service was discontinued, Two days later still have no phone. Two calls to help line (a cynical joke surely) and a chat with India has achieved nothing,
I have wasted nearly a day of my life trying to get my phone back.
To add insult to injury, when contacting help line they ask for my phone no. I give it and they say they can't recognise it. To further add more insult to more injury I get an email that tells me the bankers order has gone through. So you have my money but can't give me my phone back.
Looking on the web it appears that my experience is not uncommon.
It is impossible to get hold of anyone who can sort this out.
I have been a customer of Vodaphone for more years than I care to remember and am also a shareholder, No wonder the share price is falling if this is a indicative of how the company is managed.
