The Theosophical Society (TS ) is NOT a church.

People are not required to accept a body of teaching. Today the branches of the TS a place where a range of subjects relating to spiritual subjects are discussed. Such things as healing, different beliefs, thinkers like Krishnamurti or Eckart Tolle, healthy ways of living and so on.

There are the legacy teachings but visitors are not pressured into reading them.

You are are only required to treat people with respect. I have always found them friendly and welcoming and a wide range of people and views..
