A review of Weston Park Primary School by Douglas May written on Monday 26th of March 2018

I was one of the first pupils to move into the junior school from the Kings Weston House school. It was around 1950-=51. If my memory serves me right I think the infants were slightly ahesd of us, they entered the school from Broadlands drive. My main teachers were Mrs Whitfield, and Mr Morris. The Headmaster was Mr Jones. Lawrence Weston in those early days was a great place to grow up in, everything was new apart from the old Masons Arms pub and thatched cottages surround.

My class mates would all be 75 years of age by now but I bet they still share the Happy memories of Lawrence Weston School. Discipline was pretty strict but we all left the school with a very good grounding for the world of work.

All the best to any of my former classmates.
