A review of John Lewis Restaurant by Katie lovebread written on Thursday 17th of September 2015
I often eat at the restaurant and usually have the homemade soup or a bowl of salad. Both are delicious.
One of the pleasures of my lunch is that the bread is fresh and easy to eat and I get to choose either wholemeal or white. At sometime the type of bread has changed to a sourdough (I think that's what its called) which is often dry and difficult to eat because of its chewy texture. I'm really disappointed with this and yesterday while at the restaurant the bread was dry. My friend used extra butter to make it more palatable and I left most of mine. Such a pity you've abandoned the good bread..
