"Damaging Delivery?"

Dear Sirs,

This item was delivered this morning (9 May) by Royal Mail (not our regular and excellent post man).

The doorbell was rung, my wife, who gave me the parcel as an anniversary present, went downstairs picking up the key and opened the door which would have taken about 60 seconds. The postman was just leaving and said he had just thrown the parcel over a 6 foot gate on to a concrete path. This is not an ideal way to deliver an electrical item.

I have tried the product and it is presently working OK. I have complained to Royal Mail - complaint reference 1/3321550167. If the product fails relatively quickly I shall pursue compensation from Royal Mail in the first instance.

RST Music might wish to reconsider how their parcels are delivered.
