"Didn't get hair done but initial customer service drove me away"

I went in to inquire about having my hair done and was met at the counter by a woman on her phone. When I asked about getting an appointment another woman came along and asked what I wanted done. As I was on a tight budget I specified I didn't want to pay more than a certain price and considering they had a £15 offer on I considered this reasonable. I was met with a frosty response and had to spend some time haggling over how short they could cut my hair for that price. I didn't mind that obviously, the more they took off the more it would cost but the way I was spoken to was not appreciated. I can't say anything in the way of their actual hairdressing as I was driven away by the less than welcoming response..
